Just found out the other day I drew my first bull tag archery for white river. But dont know where to go talked to several guys and they said to kill a nice bull to go up in the high country and not down low where the indians have been. Any thoughts or pictures of bulls killed in this unit?
Nothing wrong with that. Where you settin up camp?

I know I will be wasting time on my hunt but I might get lucky enough to find one of the last bulls left. There is a ton of elk in the White River unit still. Deer on the other hand is a different story, but you have to be willing to put in some work and hunt hard. Just heed to my advice and I am sure you will connect on one, that is if you do your part!

The indians or at least the Mucks don't start hunting until sometime in Sept. They used to hunt in August but I believe their own tribal regs changed that a couple of years ago. They will be there then ALL the time.....may be ok for the arrow boys but it will make it tough for the others with modern and muzzle tags. Also, those fields down near Enumclaw are not in the White River unit and they are for the most part private property....................Les
