Oldest gun I have would be a Remington 341 22 rimfire that my dad gave me a while back, he picked it up at a garage sale. They were made from 1936 to 1940. This one's in really good condition. I haven't shot it yet but plan on trying it out soon.

I guess the oldest would be a couple of Civil War officer's Colts.  I have a couple of octagon barrel saddle rifles that are well over a hundred years old.  Oh, and a handgun that belonged to my great, great uncle who was one of the main guys at the gunfight at the ok corral.  Well, my Dad has that one.  ;)

Gotta be at least 49 years old since they haven't been made since 1963.

I sold a model '94 Winchester before I knew any better. It was really old. I have a Rem 700 classic .30-06 that I purchased in 1974 or so and it looks almost new.

Model 110 Savage in .308    It has a vintage Leupold fixed power scope.   Probably mid sixties.  Not that old but I sure loved that gun... wont ever get rid of it.  Its a Gun Safe cruiser now.
Words of wisdom...Not from me but profound.
On Children

Your children are not your Children.
They are the sons and daughters of life's longing itself. They come through you but not from you.
And though they are with you , yet the do not belong to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts.  For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls.
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow.
