Nice fish, but it would take a ling bigger than those to eat a 17 inch (remeasured it) flounder, I think.

Lings will eat anything, it doesnt really matter how big. :twocents:
If it aint broke, dont fix it.

Well, ling season is over here in the sound.  Tried for about 4 hours yesterday.  Lots of rockfish, one little tiny greenling, and a cabezon, 12 pounder, but no ling for the season.   :yike:  Last year we couldn't keep the shortys like 20 to 24 inches off the hooks.  Where they all went, I have no idea.
