Shoot threw mesh

Has anyone tryed this out? Just wondering how much it screws your shot up?  Any info is welcome, thinking of getting a new blind with this feature.

the whole idea of it scares me.  I think you're better off with the open window but I've never shot threw it.

A buddy shot thru the mesh on his primos blind and his arrow did not even come close to hitting where he was aiming.

I don't wanna shoot thru anything but an elk.

I have shot threw it and have had no problems but you want to make sure it is tight before you shoot thru it. The only problem i have had with it is that my range finder does not like to work through  it.

i shot through it and hit exactly where i was aiming on my deer last year at 27 yards. just make sure it is tight and the shot is fairly close. im not sure i would trust too much further without trying first. you can buy replacement windows at cabelas cheap enough. buy some and try it out.
i personally think that more ground blind inaccuracys come from ths sitting position and the lighting in the blind than the mesh.

My PH in Africa had me hunting out of a ground blind with shoot-thru mesh.  I was skeptical so he let me shoot several arrows through it.  The only time I noticed any affect on accuracy was shots that were not "broadside" to the mesh.  I ended up shooting a monkey at 30 yards with no problem.

Keep the mesh tight, shoot 90 degrees to it, you should be good.

Agree with keep it tight and shoot 90 degrees.  I try to leave my primary (where I expect the critters) windows open but the mesh really helps hide what is inside the blind for the secondary windows.

Yeah, a monkey....  The big critters weren't coming in but the monkeys sure were.  Where I was hunting the monkeys are like rats.  My PH wanted me to shoot each one we could.

The nice thing about having the mesh on is that we had monkeys come within 6 feet of our blind, look right into the windows and not see us.  Then....WHACK!

We shot two bull elk though our primos blind. All worked awesome!!! Wont hunt with out the screen down!

First thing we do is remove it.  If you have a good blind it will be dark inside.  Only open windows you are going to use and you will remain hidden just fine.  You will get used to closing one window before opening the next.  Takes about five minutes of practice and you won't even no what all the fuss is about.  We've had antelope come up and look inside the window, sniff a little and head on to water without a care.  We do wear black most of the time though.

Do not shoot expandables through mess!!!
