Sure love the price gouging on shotgun ammo on this forum and other forums!

Hell I've been getting rid of some shotgun ammo at store price to people who need it!

I refuse to gouge any member on anything. So far I've helped members with hulls, wads and powder, another wads and specific loading data, another who needed 100 CCI 200 primers and lastly a dad who needed .410 shells for his son. I ask for little in return, maybe just a positive trade count reply. One did send me the cost of postage. I'm happy to help out those who are starting loading or in need.  :twocents:

Wadu is definitely a class act. He is an example of why this is such a great site.

Class act?!?!

Have you met him?

He's a one man walking biker bar fight.
How mean is he?
I will tell you.

He once drove his truck and utility trailer from Tacoma to Everett To my place on Federal Way to pick up some furniture for a single mom we were helping out.

That is actually how I met the man.

How many people do you know that would do that for a stranger?

I now return you to your normally scheduled ammo price gouging.

Nothing on huntwa drives me more crazy than the new trend of folks selling ammo and reloading components at price gouged prices. It’s not what huntwa is for or about if you ask me. Go to armslist or whatever other sites and gouge away. This is a community. Not a market place.

I met him at a fundraiser event for veterans. Talk about a dirtbag!!

No I have plenty. Post what you think is a good price and screw what anyone else has to say about it. If they don't want to buy it they can wait for the next ad and buy from them if the price is lower.

Maybe I should start an auction?

Agreed 1000% especially when the gougers aren't contributing in any other meaningful way. Good summary
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I say why not do something about it, but sitting here it’s tough to think of a good way to combat it and not have the place turn into something it’s not. With the amount of frustration going around on this subject, maybe others have good ideas? Or just let it run it’s course. Good people will continue to help eachother out and eventually the dbags will leave until the next oppurtunity to gouge people comes along.

I thought about making a thread saying something to the effect of “take your price gouging prices elsewhere” but we talked it out and the truth of the matter is there’s no way to enforce anything in a situation like this. Maybe we have a rule like 20 posts before you have access to the classifieds or something like that but for now, I hope people are just decent about things and will leave it at that. Some people won’t. Hopefully those folks get the idea on their own.
