I just traded in my 2007 duramax over the weekend and got $19k plus the $1,900 in sales tax deduction for a truck I drove for 17 years. At some point you just need to say now is the time and get your used car gone while the prices are high. The news ones will never be as cheap as they used to be but the used ones will start losing their value like they used to probably sooner than later.

Please get a Rav4 instead of the Chevy. Equinox ranks like 23rd out of 26 in reliability.
