I would like to get my bow restrung and ready for hunting season. Any recommendations for the best shop around Olympia?

The only one I knew of in Olympia has been closed for several years.  The next closest and the one I would recomend in Luck Shot Archery in Chehalis.

If a person were to open one up in Olympia/Tumwater where would you like it located - close to where Olympic was or somewhere else?

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Tumwater area or just off highway. Maybe by the mall.

I went into Fletch Setters once, the guy was sitting there BSing with one of his buddies and seemed annoyed that I walked through the door.  He was very unfriendly.  A buddie of mine had a similar experience, I will never return and would not recommend him to anyone.   :bdid:

This is weird to hear. I have never experienced that with the owner. Maybe its because every time I come in, he knows I am going to spend some money  :chuckle:

I've had this experience in a number of bow shops.  A buddy and I often joke about the "bow shop groupies" that seem to flock to bow shops.

Everyone has a bad day. Do you want personality and a smiley face or do you want an exceptional technician working on your equipment? Screw the smile; I want my bow right!

My favorite bow guy snapped at me on the phone one day. I got a little torqued for about 5 seconds and then realized that I like his work and I can depend on him to keep my bow right. Now, I just kiddingly call him grumpy and he still does all of my work.

I had the same thing happen to me right after Fletchsetter opened up but since then I have had nothing but good luck with him!  He has set up a couple of bows for me and does a great job!  If you show up a week before season and want your bow worked on in a hurry he might get a little cranky with you.  All in all, I highly recommend Fletchsetter.
