90% ? You may be right. But that is only because 90% of westsiders can read the regulations, as opposed to 10% of eastsiders. :chuckle:

they head back and pile it up on I90. Every sun afternoon you read how some idiot bein stupid and in a hurry and on the phone piled it up and caused a traffic jam. :bash: they com to the east to relax, recreated and iritate. its gotten worse over the last few years. They tell there friends and then they come over TOO! Its so scenic and relaxing and everyone is so nice. blah, blah blah. In reality it gives everyone on the east a big headache. :chuckle:

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

The eastside tags suck, I was in my beachfront seattle coastie loft last year and I drew a Desert buck tag and a colockum big bull tag. Took my subaru out there for the weekend to hunt those deer in the desert unit. Didnt see anything, no deer over there  :dunno: Same went with the elk tag, I drove up into the colockum as far as my subaru wagon would go (about a quarter mile past the gate). It was kinda windy so I didnt really get out of the car. Man I hunted hard and didnt get anything except with my camera took some nice shots of wildflowers. After that I went back to seattle to my job at starbucks. But at least I had my ipad to watch movies driving over I 90, really kills time for those long boring drives!

The answer is really easy.  90% of the population lives in the West side and 10% on the east.  If 90% of the people are putting in from the west side it only makes mathematical sense that 90% of the tags will be given to them.  Just think on the bright side.  In most hunting and fishing situations 10% of the people usually get 90% of the fish and game.  How many times have you seen the occasional guy that gets a buck every year or the guy that gets the stealhead or salmon everytime he goes compared to the many guys that go our over and over again and hardly get anything.  That's whats nice about living on the east side of Washington.  When you do get a tag you will actually probably get your animal.  This is due to the inside info and close proximity to the hunting areas.  It also has to do that us eastsiders are more attractive and have better looking wives.  OK so I went a little bit overboard but it was kind of fun.  Happy hunting to all (east and west)

So this is posted without a seattleite sorry.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter
