I went on a high buck hunt in 2009 and am looking into going again this year. Looking through my pictures of the last time i went i found what looks like deer. Any opinions on if they are deer or not? We were eating lunch when i snapped a picture of a hillside for the heck of it. I didn't think to even glass for deer in the area we were in since we were a long ways from our destination.

The left looks like nothing, but the right looks to be a deer.

We sat down to eat something i took two pictures, one a little more distant, the object on the left was there in the first picture and still there in the second. The object on the right was not there in the first and there in the second. It was pretty thick stuff and still in low country. I think if it is a deer it would be a muley due to our location. this is a picture that i zoomed in on them a little bit.

You guys must have better computer screens than me. I cant positively say that it is or it isnt a deer. Im leaning with BTCody, its most likely a bigfoot.

i say its a buck cuz

its perportional
its dark brown
looks like it has a heavy chest/neck
has legs where they should be
has a white deer shaped butt
even has a perfect tail
could be horns but i can put horns on everything

the thing on the right i think is just a deer/eland stump

Well I sure can't tell if its a buck or not, but I do believe its a deer. Cross too if I'm seeing it right.

Yep will have to remember to glass on the way in this year. We did a lot of research and scouting to find an area we thought wouldn't hold many hunters. We didn't see any hunters but did see a few weekend hikers. Every thing I read said you probably won't find deer next to the trails. The picture was about 300 yards off the trail. I'll send a pm to huntnphooll and see if he can help me out. Thanks

Huntnphool checked it out and said it's a buck. He said there wasn't much he could do with it cause the pixels were to low.

As for good glass I have it and it didn't help me at that spot because I didn't use it. We were more worried about getting to our camping spot that night and we still didn't make it there in the first day.
