Been a lot of years since I have been crabbing at Kayak when I was little with my dad. Would like to get some this year but no boat. Other than Kayak where can I crab from a dock in the Everett area. Any tips to get some fresh crab?

I won't be able to crab until Thursday...  :bash:

Dang, I should have taken today off.  Will be out Thursday and Friday in 8-2.  That first crab feast of the year is always the best.

HOw long of a soak?

That pot was only down an hour and I think it had 2 keepers and 2 that measured but were soft.   I moved a bit deeper (60 – 70ft) on the next set looking for harder shells and limited on the 2nd pull.

Lots of pots out there this morning, especially on the Whidbey side.  There must be a lot of people taking the week off.
