Sorry folks but that sure seems like an awful lot of work for such a small amount of meat when everything is all said and done.  Never really been into the crabs just to much mess and work for a tablespoon full of meat per crab

A limit of dungies provides a meal or three.  It is labor intensive, but well worth it.  Plus, I'd much rather be out boating and crabbing than sitting in my office!

Dont wrestle your crabmeat out. Just shake it!

Shaking Dungeness crab.wmv

We made 90+ crab cakes for our Christmas party last year using this method to get the meat out.

Pretty slick but it does create overspray! Lol.

Today.....

First they were all like

So then I was like

Then they were all

And now we are both all like

Om nom nom.....
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
