That looks like a great read! I'll have to pick up a copy. Any chance it will be available on Kindle?

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Thanks.  I sincerely believe every sportsman in the NW should read it, not so I can make money on book sales (I make a whopping $3.50 per copy) but rather so everyone knows what is happening to our resources and what is being done (or not done) to catch the rats who are stealing our critters.

:(   I'm half way through , Op. Cody.  Unreal how pervasive the poaching is going on. Not only in WA. ,but the other western states & Canada as well.   All law abiding citizens of this state really owe Todd & Jennifer, & all the other LE people involved w/ Op. Cody a great debt of gratitude for TRYING to do something about the problem.     Reminder, PLEASE write a letter to the prosecuting attorney of Pierce County,  Patrick Hammond,930 Tacoma Ave S. Rm  946 Tacoma, WA. 98402.  In regards to, Bona Bunphouath sentencing.  Ask for the MAX penalty for this piece of #**#.     THANKS for writing the book Todd!

Just finished the book last night, great read.  The reality of it of course makes me sick.  I was shocked out how normal this seems to the poachers and the complete disregard for the rules.  In one week these guys take the same amount of elk it takes me 15 years to kill and the deer seem to be like rats to these guys.  Insane.

Thanks for shedding the light on how screwed up the WDFW is too, what a nightmare work environment.  It really kills me how it seems they don't care about big game as much as the marine stuff.  They should get equal attention and way more support than they do.

Anyways, I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone and have written a 5 star review on Amazon.

Great book, great job, thanks for the effort during your career at the WDFW and man do I feel for those that are still there trying to fight the fight.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

UCWarden - Why do you think it is that marine issues seem to garner more attention than big game?  My though is the relationship to commercial interests, but I am wondering if the insider's view is different?

I personally think it has more to do with the WDFW administration than anything else.  Deputy Chief Cenci is a fish cop (from Dept. of Fisheries) and he runs the show.  He doesn't think too much about wildlife cases.
If you haven't read the book, do so...I pretty well explained in there.

How are the book sales doing? I hope you sell a bunch to shed some light on what is going on... Do you have any idea what kind of numbers on how may you've sold or how many were printed?
