I think we should rename this thread "Hunting adventures gone bad."  Curious to see who else the googlebots attract to this thread.

It's fair to say that HuntWa has a lot of viewers and lurkers  8)

I wish a few of them would buy calenders to support their local photographer. :chuckle:

Thanks for the reminder... I need to go to lulu
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Unfortunately I see that a few member are questioning the validity of the negative comments about rich's hunting adventures.  I can only speak for my experience in 2009 with my friend ED.  However a quick check will see that I put a post on Bowsite years ago regarding this incident.  I left my email for others to contact me.  I have since been contacted many times by other hunters that have been ripped off by this guy.  Yes this is my first post on this web site.
The following email I received a few days ago and did a quick search and that led me to this website:

Hey Tony,

Noticed your post on the 24campfire site.  Have you Googled Rich's
Hunting Adventures lately?  He ripped off two hunters.  One $2K and the
other $4K.  Both are blasting Rich on the forums.  One has a court date
this Thursday in Texas and then plans to use the case to file a mail
fraud case.
Mike

Tony

There are plenty of negative replies regarding his name and service on the net for anyone that does a simple search, in today's world, if you get burned by this guy then you really have yourself to blame for not doing your homework.

That being said, what's the story with the moose avatar? Looks like a dandy.

Still what are you trying to do by posting your story on here besides drag his name thru the mud? Or is there an alterior motive. Just wondering.

It seems someone posting about a bad experience would help others to not make the same mistake. I think it's a great thing. It could also be referred to as dragging someone's name through the mud, but if that's what he deserves, so be it. The Internet can be a wonderful thing.

It's amazing how small of world the hunting world is. Rich just called me, it turns out I have talked to him before, he is a booking agent, he nearly sent me some hunters last fall for Montana, but apparently the deal fell through and the hunters decided not to come.

The deal probably fell thru because the hunters did an internet search and found all the bad reports of this booking agent.   :o

So, how did magnum72576 come across the HuntWA site and happen to stumble across this particular thread? I mean, the dude's in NY and happened to have a similar experience as OP with 'Rich'. What? is he and the OP following each other around to hunting forums posting about their displeasure? If so, the question remains, Why?

One  plausible explanation is that people get scammed and then do internet searches to find out whether others have had the same experience, find forum posts with a story similar to theirs and then take the opportunity for a "me too" vent. :twocents:

Provide your business info and or link because right now I have no doubt in my mind that you arent a very good business person :twocents:.

Pretty sure a link to his website is posted earlier in this thread.
The name of his business is "Rich's Hunting Adventures".
