Here is my contribution for the thread. Not a monster and certainly not one of the big ones notorious for the area. I did miss a nice buck. But I was fortunate to Shoot this guy on the last day my hunt. A very memorable hunt, and All DIY. Even the 5 mile pack out was somewhat enjoyable knowing I had hunted hard all by myself. Here is my SE Utah Muley. :hello:

The Buck that is alive is the one that came out the other night just behind my house...  :bash: Go Figure huh!

The other bucks are of my buddies Limited Entry Utah Bucks somewhere in Southern Utah...

My backyard buck:

I wasn't even planning on hunting this morning (it was my dad's turn with the gun), but he called this morning to say he had just spotted a buck some distance away.  I got ready and walked out into the woods since he thought it might head onto our property.
Just then I saw two deer gallop across the neighboring field.  Bummer.
I went ahead and found a good spot in the woods overlooking the valley, just in case.  Sure enough, just a minute later this buck must have turned 180 degrees and headed back onto our property.
It was an easy 30 yard shot from there.
Yay!  Can't wait to make more venison sausage!

My 9yr old daughters first buck. I've never been so proud in my whole life.  :IBCOOL:  My knees were shaking as if a 185" blacktail was standing in front of me.

Son Wyatt's opening Day Buck. 2nd year hunting and tagged out first day 2 years in a row..

Hey, I'm new to the site but this is my 2014 WA buck. My first mule deer. I got him on the 19th of Oct. at 7.30am, the last day for mule deer. He had a thick neck and the glands under his eyes were wide open.

Well after passing up 5 different bucks (2 spikes, 2-2 pts, 1-3 pt) my son went out and got this 2 pt all on his own. Mom dropped him off while I was at work and he was able to fill his tag. Now we can focus on getting ready for Montana!

Nice blackie there for your son 3nails.

He needs his own account, wish more kids would do this rather than parents for them. :dunno:
