I hope people are beginning to realize the seriousness of this law that seems well poised to pass.

Please keep this on top, it is very important.  Please tell complacent voters that you know to get out and vote on this, it is VERY IMPORTANT.

So am I understanding this correctly- I could not take my daughters hunting unless I also had the proper hunting license and tag for the season we were hunting? Say I have archery deer and elk tags and they have modern firearm tags, the only way they could hunt is by going with an adult who also is licensed to hunt at that time, and that adult could then "loan" his guns to the minors while hunting.

Wouldn't this completely eliminate hunting by anyone under 18 if there wasn't an adult present? What about trap and skeet shooting? Kids wouldn't be able to participate unless they had a parent involved at all times? When I was in high school we used to drive to the trap shooting range every week and shoot trap. With this new law that would not be legal.

If this law passes I'll be moving out of this state ASAP. Even California isn't this bad with their gun laws.   :o

I've been trying to convey that.  It is hard to tell which provision of the law would apply to a minor hunting alone, but it seems like they'd be covered in the "under 18...for the use of... hunting, etc" and not under the general exemption for hunting.  In that case, a minor cannot hunt with a gun alone anymore if this passes.

Uh ya they are and worse in some cases but i understand what you mean by moving.
if this passes though; California wont be safe for most Blue states will follow suit
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

I got a response back today from an e-mail I sent out a while ago to the NRA/ILA asking for help, since they didn't seem interested in helping with either initiative.

Thank you for contacting the NRA-ILA.

We have full-time lobbyists working specifically for Washington.  We have election coordinators, campaign field reps, and volunteers on the ground.   We have formed a separate PAC specifically for the defeat of Initiative 594.  We have ad buys that have already started appearing, and we have mailings going out informing voters of the ballot initiatives.

https://www.voteno594.com/

For information about what you can do to help, visit https://www.nrapvf.org/take-action/ <https://www.nrapvf.org/take-action/> .

While I-591 is a good initiative which we hope passes, our full resources are going into defeating I-594.

Best Regards,

Alex

I saw a commercial this morning about the so called "loop hole" that being GUNBROKER.com. Its easy for a criminal to buy a gun and receive it. What is the deal with that? GUNBROKER should be helping defeating I-594

Why are they saying that? Do they not understand that when you buy a gun from Gun Broker that it has to be sent to an FFL holder, and when the buyer picks up the gun all the same paperwork and background check is done, just as if the gun were being purchased directly from a store.

Did Gunbroker.com produce the commercial, or were they the subject of the commercial?  If they are the subject, then they need to know ASAP.  What are the details of the commercial, what channel was it aired on, when, etc.  Please, let them know.

Propaganda is going to spew from the anti-gun zealots.  We need to expose it as just that when we see it.

If any of you know people that don't vote, please get them to vote, and VOTE NO on I-594.

It is very unfortunate that many people don't vote because they think they will avoid being called for jury duty.  Candidates that are door-belling are finding many people don't register to vote for this ill-conceived reason.  If you know people that think this way, please let them know they can still be called for jury duty.  Yes, voter registration is one of the ways to be selected, but what a lame excuse to not VOTE to protect your rights; it's our civic duty to be available to serve on juries.  We need every single VOTE out there to beat the I-594 BS!!!

http://www.courts.wa.gov/newsinfo/resources/?fa=newsinfo_jury.faq
"How was I chosen for jury duty?

First, your name was selected at random from voter registration and driver's license and "identicard" records. Then, your answers to the juror questionnaire were evaluated to make sure you were eligible for jury service (see the FAQ: Who is eligible for jury duty?). You were chosen because you are eligible and able to serve. You are now part of the "jury pool"-a group of citizens from which trial juries are chosen."

All these YES commercials(ie Propaganda) are being produced and paid for by Ole Bloomie himself!!

He has given 5 million to jokers(Propagandist) in this state to produce adds for TV and other media to get out the YES on 594.

Our last governor screwed up the internet sales(sales tax on value) in this state, so  that should tell you Gunbroker is not involved.

Also, GOOD Sheriff's are against it, so if you see one say other wise,  Propaganda again!!

Please Educate thy Neighbor!!

The only good tree, is a stump!
