Great video, Jason.

In that last setup I only let out two soft cow calls right before the camera was turned on.

We could hear the bull cross the creek and we knew he was close. We could also hear sticks breaking as he closed the distance. I made the decision not to call anymore to prevent him from hanging up. This reinforces the fact that elk know right where you are at from a noise you make at around 100 yards away.
Why would God make me DEAF that cant hear ANYTHING.   :bash: :bash:  I wish I could hear all those noises, bugling, cows too and get pumped up.  Lucky everyone that can HEAR A thing.   :'(
Congt to your Bull.  I have been practice a lot to try get Bull coming in my myself I couldnt do it.

Here is a short clip I put together of my bull from this year. We tried documenting the best we could the 20 minutes of moving and calling this bull in.

Phelps Idaho Bull 2014

I enjoy the video! Although my wife said it was driving her nuts.  Lol") maybe because I was playing it loudly while her tv show was on.

All hearing hunters have taken for granted the ability to hear. They have had it their whole life and will have till their death. I have a 13 year old daughter who was born deaf and this will be her first year hunting. I will need to be her ears when were out hunting together but know in the future I may not be close to her to tell her what I'm hearing. The best part is her and I can have conversations with out making a sound using ASL  Best of luck to you! Keep the wind in your face and move slow!! :hello:

Congrats on another fine bull elk! That is a very good documented piece on how it can happen and how to go about getting it done.
