In that last setup I only let out two soft cow calls right before the camera was turned on. We could hear the bull cross the creek and we knew he was close. We could also hear sticks breaking as he closed the distance. I made the decision not to call anymore to prevent him from hanging up. This reinforces the fact that elk know right where you are at from a noise you make at around 100 yards away.
Here is a short clip I put together of my bull from this year. We tried documenting the best we could the 20 minutes of moving and calling this bull in. Phelps Idaho Bull 2014

I wish I could hear all those noises, bugling, cows too and get pumped up. Lucky everyone that can HEAR A thing. Congt to your Bull. I have been practice a lot to try get Bull coming in my myself I couldnt do it.
