2015 gen mule deer season

Are the dates of October 17-27 pretty solid?

There are antlerless permits you can apply for and draw.
Not sure I'd call it a lottery....close. They vary between GMU's.

If it does get adopted I'm wondering if those last 4 days would run concurrent with modern elk season or if they'd push elk back a week??  :dunno:

If those openers stick there will be alot of pressure in the hills with no break! I like the fact that they are looking to move the deer opener back a touch and extend it a little but would be nice if they moved the elk back accordingly!!

They didn't move the modern deer opener back. It just happens to fall on October 17 this year. It fell on October 17 in 2009 as well.

And 2009 was a good year. ;)  Fog, cold weather, a little snow...what more could you ask for?
