I will say shooting a bow and shooting the 6.5 were definitely 2 very awesome experiences. But my goal of getting the 1st bow kill with a goat has been accomplished and this hunt sealed it for me as far as bow hunting. That rush and experience can only be replicated with the next bow kill.

Wow!  Not sure how I missed this one.  I didn't even know plat was hunter, let alone a hard core high country hunter.  Thought he just came on here to harass people and update his ridiculous avatars.

Congratulations again Plat! On a hard earned goat, I know alot of guys including myself would have got frustrated, and pulled out the rifle from the get go. Way to stick with it. Great write up I enjoyed reading it!  :tup:

As we headed downhill another hunter got tossed into the mix. He Calls Himself ghosthunter. So the fellowship of the goat began.
    What an experience and a privilege to share in the final chapter.  I'm honored to be a part of "the fellowship of the goat".   Plat and thr entire Getsum crew is number one in my book.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.
