The target limbs are completely different from the limbs on the hunting line. I think if you shot mine, you might actually like it  :tup:

I am a fan of the Bowtech CPX bows.  But I would never shoot one of the machined Club & Hinge limbs.  Think a lot of people confuse the old company with the new and don't recognize the difference in limb construction.  They see all the machined C&H limbs break and assume that is happening on all the bows.  I guess that is Bowtech's fault for not purging that limb design from their entire line...like most everyone else has.

I have friends that refuse to shoot PSE because they had limb breakage issues with C&H limbs in the 90's.  They won't shoot Mathews because they bought the DXT.  Won't shoot Martin because they bought their C&H limbs.  They won't shoot Sims because they bought their first C&H...etc, etc, etc.  You would think after awhile they would stop falling for all the advertising hype and just avoid the weak design.  Unfortunately, as long as manufacturers and bean counters are making an extra few bucks they will continue to be sold.

That is what I call a machined club and hinge limb.  Basically a large heavy club head that focuses the limb to bend at a hinge point rather than evenly over most of it's length.  Not to be confused with Elite which looks the same but is laminated by the best!  Even then I think Elite could do a lot better, but it wouldn't be something I worry about on Elite.  Bowtech's CPX really gets flex over a large area.  Really helps reduce stress in the compression area.  As does the Bear, PSE, Xpedition, Hoyt, some Mathews...  There is a reason most everyone has gone away from that design.

Got my hands on the new turbo today 1 arrow and I was sold.  15 yds no sight 1st arrow out of the bow.  Dumb luck?  Absolutely but it's a sign maybe :dunno:
