I know some who say "doe" for plural female deer
I say doe. As in "That farm has a lot of doe on it, but no buck." I also say "There's quite a few buck roaming around that hollow"
I think one must address an important variable that hasn't been brought up when discussing this most serious matter...am I actually hunting or am I drunk in the mountains? One must first establish the level of inebriation the person in such a scenario is exoeriencing before making a decision on what is appropriate. I've been known to take my bow for long drunk walks before when the animals are scarce

People who get this wrong then say they hope you catch one.
