Seems a bit unfair..... Just my opinion....
Maybe they're debating whether the deer population can handle the pressure of the 3,000 multi-season tags. They already had to eliminate some of the doe seasons in the NE part of the state. Maybe they're willing forego the $420,000 and save some deer for next year.
Sure wish they'd hurry up and make a decision. The only reason I can think of for it taking so long is if the leftover sale option they tried last year was a disaster somehow. I didn't hear any complaints about it but I can't think of any other reason for the delay on this.
Hopefully they are considering a pre-pay second drawing for unsuccessful applicants only. That way those who have to work, and can't stand in line all morning on a weekday would have equal opportunity.
