No, you cannot carry it concealed or loaded in your truck.  To do so would put it in another classification of firearm, and trigger NFA. 
ATF say's that guns over 26" aren't generally concealable, until they're concealed.  The mossberg is 26.3 inches. 

The law doesn't state an exact overall length, but the 26 inches is a long held standard.  If too many people conceal the shockwave then that 26" standard could change to 27 inches for example.

Have one with a side saddle(Rem870). Rides in the truck. Ever have to exit the truck in a bad situation. It comes first with 3" inch #4 buck. My handgun is my secondary. Serious stuff in close.

They serve a purpose.

I picked one of these up a couple months ago when Remington was offering a mail in rebate on all 870's.  They aren't all that expensive and with the rebate it was barely over $300. 

Figured I'd get one before the dems/libs jump all over them and make them illegal.

There is some chatter out there that these may be legal to carry loaded in a vehicle. Washington law has some odd wording in it.
Since these are NOT considered long guns the rules don't apply to them.
Washington wording for pistols is different than the federal wording and it is something along the lines of "can't be fired from the shoulder' ...
I feel there is enough grey area between state and federal wording to allow it, but I certainly won't be the test case.

The Remington Tac-14 is 4+1  The Mossberg Shockwave is 5+1

I've read the Rem Tac-14 can be modified to hold 5 but I don't know that for a fact so it could just be internet BS.

I handled both before I bought one and to me the Remington had a much smoother action.

I have the Mossberg with a sidesaddle and xs tritium big dot bead. Inside of 25-30 yards its alot of fun. The foolish thing actually throughs a decent pattern with flite control 00buck.
