That photo is a thing of beauty.  I have a pronounced appreciation for variety.

I look forward to the quail/chukar opener more than any other day of the year. I'll be revisiting this area on Sat, then hitting another chukar spot Sun.
That's an awesome picture! I cannot wait until Saturday..

A lot of quail this season.  Some triple batches even.   I've also been hearing and seeing tons of Huns.   I should have got out for pics before you guys scared them up and shot em all, but oh well

I was glassing for deer this AM at the top of a barren slope overlooking a huge sage flat. I was glued to my binos when I herd this weird chirping/clucking sound right nearby. I lowered my binos and a whole covey of huns was about 20ft in front me. They immediately flushed and I about soiled my shorts. Pretty cool! If I wasn't deer hunting I would get payback on those guys.
Fish hard, hunt harder!

That is great news. My dad has mentioned that he has been seeing way more quail that he usually sees by this time of the year. He is over by Moses Lake.

Gonna be up by goldendale next weekend.  Parents just bought 20 acres and my dad has been seeing tons of quail.

Day was a bust for me.  Not a single bird or shot fired.  Found people in my normal spot, which there never is.  And the adjacent land owner had all his cows on the public land, trampling all over the bird habitat.  I'll try a different spot tomorrow.
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Found good numbers of chukar and huns for the opener. Even a covey of quail in the high lonesome. Not a single person around. So nice having the feeling of being the only person hunting thousands of acres public land. Definitely not some place I would bring anyone I like. 12 miles of boot time and worth it

Slow weekend for me. Chukar were flushing wild, ended up with one quail and one hun. Always good to be out there though!

Started the day very wet but as able to get the pups out and put feathers on the ground. It felt really good to get out hunting again. It was my Vizsla pups first hunt.

I have seen a small Bull Snake, harmless. I heard from a friend that his friends dog was bit today by a Northenr Pacific.  Looks to be a dry strike, but still out there.
