I’m too embarrassed to admit I gave the state of Washington my money for a chance of drawing nothing for another year. Looks like there is a lot of others that feel the same way... not saying that I seen the amount of confirmations on the last day to apply for a spring bear tag, just thinking there is a lot more people that got had by the wdfw charity scam...

I put in for a tag in the blues.
No tag, I still am hunting turkeys in the same area.
Applying for units that have bears with turkeys as the consolation prize works for me.

I NEVER have luck, but got 3 spring bear draws in a row. Last year I partnered, so I got one with 4 pts, 2nd with 4 pts and 3rd with 0. I kinda feel guilty.

Im actually relieved i didnt draw this year.  I have a ton of scouting / hanging stands / hanging cams i need to do this spring, got too many good bucks located, dont need to be distracted with bear hunting when i should be getting ready for deer season.
