We used rest stops a few times when we had a 5th wheel. There convenient and the lines can be long  Camping in the woods we also might use a campground that had a station. Sometimes free sometimes $5 just depended who was manning the office.

There is one at the Quick Stop, just West of Donna's café in Pomeroy, WA.

There is one at the Last Resort, on the Tucannon RD, in the Valley.
