I think as it is now, if hunting season is open a bunch of hunters will be too preoccupied to mail in their ballots.  Closing it now would just make a bunch more angry people that would vote against him and the Dems.  Should he close it to just stick it to people would be right after the election.  But he's such a dunce, who knows what he'd do.

Doesn't really matter,  he is a D and no lover of America nor hunters(its called gun control)and fishermen/women.

Anyone other then a D!

Even if he did I'll take my chances. I stopped taking that guy serious months ago. I'll hunt to provide for my family.

I usually camp NF. So I am going to camp or hunt the season.
Regardless what he says.

I think canceling hunting would get a stronger reaction. Even though there is less of us than fishing.

Highly doubt he has the authority to close it . Governor Durkan can shut it down though.

Hey!  That's only a coincidence that their proposed plan for opening schools and loosening Covid restrictions aligns with the presidential election.  I refuse to believe politics has anything to do with it  :o

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he did, I half expect it. I don't think he gives two shts about peoples negative reactions, they've already shown compliance with all the bs mandates so far whether they liked it or not. He's very confident that there's no way he can lose this election IMO

Realistically, I think he would have done more by now if he was thinking about cancel hunting season. Numbers are on the decline statewide and there are tons of other things he could be stopping if he wanted to.

He has nothing to lose. Hes going to win the election even if he runs his car into a BLM Rainbow coalition protest.

Plus Ive heard his main goal is to get a Biden cabinet position.

There are more people heading East on I-90 every weekend than ever before it seems. That pretty much defeats Inslee's argument back in the Spring for closing hunting/fishing. He cited not wanting people to move around the state for recreation.

I can attest to this. The amount of traffic coming in and out of the Wenatchee Valley is higher than normal. Every weekend feels like a holiday weekend

If he wins, I'll feel that sportsmen who didn't take the time to vote against him are are getting what they deserve. Personally I've had my fill of Inslee.

He won't restrict across state travel till he himself is done going back and forth for personal and recreational use.

Once he's done he'll drop the hammer again. Probably Oct 1st ish I would expect a new mandate to come out.

If he's going to shut down hunting season, he'll need to personally knock on my front door and inform me in person that it's shut down. Otherwise, how would I know? I have my Mudflow special permit sitting right here in front of me on my desk. That and my elk tag is all I need. Hunting season WILL be open, for me.

Would carrying a "Black Tails Matter" sign while hunting with no license protect me from arrest? I could set a few trees on fire for emphasis.

Nobody has been or will be convicted of criminal wrong doing without proper notification.

It's like being sent a jury notice. How are they suppose to hold you responsible for compliance when the post office may have lost the notice. That's why they have registered mail.

Stop and go westbound last night from Easton to the new wildlife bridge at 9:45pm. It was nuts.

 :yeah:
He was seen numerous times around cle elum shopping for vacation homes in the early part of all this BS. Then again in the lower county when a residence had a noise complaint called on them and guess who’s there with a large gathering not wearing masks? Ol jay himself, with his wsp detail telling the SO deputies to leave and they saw nothing. At least that’s the rumor around town from deputies I know and that it is some family member of his house out east of Kittitas....

I don't care.  I have 6 deer tags for 2 other states so WA is on my IDGARA list this year.  Besides, he wouldn't think of it before the election.  Culp would have a field day with that.  Now come Nov. 4th........  If I had a late season tag of some sort, there might be room for some concern, but not a lot though.

If Inslee shuts down hunting this fall it would not change the outcome of the election.  Hunters are less than 5 % of the state population.

Is it even that high? Probably only 1% of them vote.
