PathfinderJR, second day of the season.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Some nice deer showing up out there!!

Opening morning was not what we expected.  With hunters everywhere, I was surprised to find this buck bedded between multiple different groups of hunters.  After sneaking in from a 1000 yards out getting to 400 and missing, he came running torwards me.  I finally got him at 250 broadside and he rolled all the way to the bottom.  I one tripped him out solo as my buddy drove the truck to the bottom to pick me up.
holy smokes you actually hit something  :chuckle:
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

No better feeling in the world than watching your kids make a shot on a buck.  8) Nice job dad

Not much of a story to tell. 3 miles bicycling and a quarter mile of walking and there he was. Below me and going straight away. Hit him high in the neck off the shooting sticks, about a 100 yards and the season is over.
