I read through this whole thread today. Brought back some old names and the reason I started lurking here. I lurked for about a year before there was reason enough for me to start posting. I really enjoyed threads like this, just hunters sharing fun memories!! Thank you for bringing this back up, and THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED to this and threads like it. :tup:

I’ve killed some nice animals since 2007, but I still haven’t topped my whitetail or elk. Have since killed my biggest muley tho

Fall of 2006, I wish I still had the original pictures. Senior in high-school. Live in the heart of whitetail country with a bad addiction to muleys. .243 with some of my first handloads. Hunted solo for 4 days in a hammock and a sleeping bag.28 3/4" personal best so far. GMU 117
