I am happy to report that I got my Thunderbeast Ultra 7, after 13 exact months since my tax stamp was cashed!

I had already started load development with my 300wsm and found a load I liked enough for now, with time running low before the busy hunting season. I strapped the suppressor on and had no point of impact shift or effect on group size and accuracy. Recoil is further reduced and felt recoil has changed. It’s hard to described to someone who hasn’t shot a suppressed rifle. It’s more of a push vs a swift kick. It’s awesome is all I can say. Plus the suppressed sound main bonus.

This is a group of 4 shots at 622 yards the other day in a decent wind. 3 stacked on the right there within 1.5 inches.

If you haven’t considered a suppressor or are trying to decide, just do it! The e-file process is much quicker than before.

Congrats! 13 months is a long wait. My first took 10 months pre e file, I ordered another in March and am still waiting. Is your shooting location fairly close to home??

Thought about submitting for a stamp so I could potentially have one for next season. Waiting to see how this Hearing Protection act bill plays out though. Might do an aftermarket stock on the Tikka first.

Worth the time and investment! I have two spots I’ve been shooting within an hour of here on state land. PM me if you’ve got any questions

It would be awesome if it passed. However, I have a hard time seeing the feds let go of $200 in taxes per item.

Kota wants you to know that even though you didn’t get in to the Silencer Co BOGO deal last year, it’s not too late to think about what you want for next year’s hunting seasons.

Its probably dead until Republicans take the majority of everything. I'm sure they could still charge $200 in some sort of tax on them, but it would be nice to walk in, buy and walk out with it!

Silencer Co has ran that promotion in 2018 and 2021. It will probably be a while if they ever offer it again.

Well look at this….a Silencer Co promotion.

Buy any of the silencers listed above within the qualifying time frame, register the purchase with Silencer Co, and receive a $200 coupon code from Silencer Co to use on their web store.

Ultra 7 is on my short list. But I think the Dead Air Nomad Ti is gonna get the nod.

Nomad Ti shoots pretty good depending on what it’s on. It’s great on my 6.8 SPC and .308. Not great on my 300WM
