Hi Lady Grouse Hunter, I have a bow and a multi-season deer tag. I can come this Sunday if you give me access to the property and if I get something I'll split it in half with you.

So I have to say that my latest "have to read " posts come from LGH.  doesn't matter the subject I find it a must read.  Following this thread i harken back to the 1971 movie Dirty Harry.  Now stick with me for a minute...my favorite scene in that movie is when Harry is sitting in the diner and those guys are robbing the bank across the street.  He figures it out and walks about with his revolver and starts shooting up the bad guys as they are exiting the bank post robbery.  Harry walks up to one perp who is shot who is laying on the sidewalk with a shotgun laying nearby.  Harry gives the famous speech about not remembering how many rounds he fired and if the guy feels lucky.  Ultimately the guy doesn't go for the gun and Harry starts to turn away.  The famous line from the perp is " hey-I gots to know" which leads Harry to point his revolver at him, pull the trigger and "click".  This is how I feel when LGH invites someone to join her in some endeavor---either a hunt opportunity or a shoot at the local gun club or whatever.  If i was closer i would do it just to meet the unicorn but alas I am too far away to experience it but someone has to do it and hey...I gots to know
