Daughter got it done in Montana this week
« on: November 26, 2022, 08:16:51 AM »
With her being in college at WSU, she only had this week to hunt Montana. So I picked her up last Friday night and we headed over.  She hunted hard for 5 days in -7 to 32 degree weather with wind every day.  Damn was it cold.  Covered a lot of beautiful looking mule deer country with just a few buck seen.  It wasn't uncommon to see groups of 5-12 does and fawns with no bucks.  Finally it came together when we spotted this buck with 7 does and fawns.
One shot was all it took.  Couldn't be more proud of her.

That’s awesome. It was some pretty rough hunting this year. Congratulations on a great Montana buck.

Do yourself a favor and print a copy of that on good paper and frame it.

You won't regret having that picture 20 years from now.
