Friday they were a buglin for about the last 60 minutes before dark.  Once the sun went down, it got quiet.

Curlew is starting late this year, my first day of teaching is the 8th, I figured my boss wouldn't have approved the first couple days off. Plus I'm still feeling guilty for taking the last week off of work before summer break because of my knee surgery. I can't freekin wait!!! I will let people know where my camp is when I finally decide. It will be small and easy to move.

The first day of school is done but I felt so distracted today while I was teaching, all I could think about was what my bull was doing today  :chuckle:

Two of my buddies are hunting it right now on the tag. Probably won't hear from them. They packed in on horseback. One tall guy and one short guy....ask them if they know a guy named Happy with bad teeth......(inside joke)

Good luck! Hap

I left you one Teach! Passed on a spike at 30 yards and had a small 6 point come in again around 30 yards but got pinned down by one of his cows. He had 8 or so cows but definitely wasn't a herd bull. They were talking pretty good. I hope I don't need to be there the 17th-20 but will be if I have to. I'll be back at it this weekend.

Go get 'em guys!  Looks like you're weather was about 10x better than mine in fall of '07!  It was HOT HOT HOT and bugling only first and last 10 minutes of daylight!
