My dad has owned one since the 70, he used to bring it along duck hunting as a backup or loaner. It has seen its share of steel #2s but probably wasn’t designed for it. I’ve fired it a fair bit, getting a double trying to work that clunky bolt is a real challenge I’ve always wanted one of the 10 gauge models, the 5510 “super goose”, for no other reason than it just being a ridiculous weapon.
