should we be taking bets on how long after posting results it takes for the online licensing system to fail? My bet is 4 minutes after the draw results email goes out.

There's usually enough people trying to log in to slow the system down or completely make it unusable until around 4pm. After that it's usually not all that bad. That said I'll start checking around 1100 am.

Its getting close, been trying to log in since 130 this morning, just polished off my 3rd pot of coffee and tried logging in 314 times. I think 315 is the charm! :chuckle:

Last five years. and the dead lines to apply.

6/12/2019 (Wednesday)
6/10/2020 (Friday)
6/10/2021 (Thursday)
6/14/2022 (Tuesday)
6/14/2023 (Wednesday)

apps due
21-May
26-May
19-May
24-May
5/15 22/2024

Sooo, what time of day were these released?   :chuckle:
I have been a witness in the past. I have always been there in the morning between 8-9. Takes about an hour, maybe a bit longer if there are lots of questions. They check double check, do cross checks and a few random checks of witness applications. After that the witnesses leave and results are normally, I say normally because it’s not always true but normally they are posted between 11-3.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Let’s hope the witnesses are there now

I hope so.

Also the first rule of being a witness is you don’t talk about being a witness until after results are posted.

So technically it’s not quite as secret as “fight club”

I’ve been a witness twice, once, the draw was posted within a couple hours after I left and another the next morning. Lately it’s been the same day but who knows when the witness will arrive

I’d be ok if it took a little longer. Then I can keep day dreaming  :chuckle:

Until results are posted we all have hopes and dreams.

Don't they have to pull down the points tab or special hunts tab before they do the draw?  I.e., that has to go away before we have a chance of seeing results?

This is how it has worked in the past.

Where do the witnesses go? Can we have somebody outside trying to witness the witnesses? Seems like an easy way for us to know for sure when the draw is without any of those people breaking their secret oath....

I don’t think it was always that way, just the last few years. If they are using a different company this time, it could be different  :dunno: but I really am not a smart man
