I am with you on that. I only have second hand info on them . Dick’s let it be known. Tractor Supply never did sell guns in the Kelso store!

I somewhat frequent TS.  I've never seen anything anti-2A.  So they don't sell guns and ammo?  Criminy, is that the new threshold?

So 1 person in 1 store said they are anti firearm sales. Not a good indicator on where the owner stands on the 2nd. Being anti firearm sales could just mean there is not enough profit or its too complicated to sell firearms in their stores. I use TS fairly often. Have had great customer service through them and they made me a great deal on my Liberty gun safe a few years ago. Then knocked another $250 off of that when it didnt show up on time.

Trying to get enough signature several times and failing shows the lack of support.  Even if they get the 117k signatures there will be some that get audited out so they will want a to get a percentage more for surety.

I almost want it to happen to see how badly it fails, but only almost.  Having them fall short on signatures again is obviously the best thing.

You do all understand that this bill pretty much takes away ranching,  hatcheries, hunting, fishing, and I suggest no matter what state you live in to blow this up to make sure that it not only doesn’t receive the signatures but that voters read the fine print.  The person advocating this bill is a liberal substitute teacher who obviously wants socialism.

Just finished listening to the GoHunt podcast where they had the former president of the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association on. Sounds like some groups proposed a bill to amend the petition process so signatures had to be gathered in all counties in the state. But it never made it to the floor.

Maybe it should be one county one vote on these kind of things. Then the population centers wouldn't be controlling the whole state.

Well, problem is the major population centers are the financial drivers for the state. King county, as an example, only gets back 27 cents for every dollar paid to the state coffers and Stevens county gets $2.00 back for every dollar paid in. As much as we hate the population centers controlling government most of our east side counties would have a difficult time without their money.
