california Bighorn
« on: September 19, 2009, 03:43:30 PM »
A hunting buddy called from oregon called and said he had been over in the north east corner of oregon in the chesnimus unit and the wife of a friend of his shot a big california bighorn. They only give one tag for there and she drew the tag. He was just heading out to go fishing so did;nt talk much but said it was the second largest ever shot by a women and scored 1835/8 so hope he sends me some pictures but sounds like he saw lots of elk while looking for sheep.

Nice!  Get some pics up that must be a great ram.  FYI...the Chesnim unit would be Rocky Mtn Bighorns.  Still a great ram, congrats to the hunter.
