New TDF puppy on the way!
« on: June 03, 2010, 08:12:35 PM »
Well I spent about 20 hours on the internet searching for a new dog after the death of Boone. I found a great dog in Nashville. I'm spending the money and getting a dog from a reputable breeder that comes with a 26 month health Guarantee. I'll let the link tell the rest. I'm freakin stoked and can't wait to get my little lady.

The memory of Jake and Boone is still strong but i needed to get back on the horse. I love dogs and the past few days without one have been long and hard. I can't wait until July when my new one comes.

I can't imagine how tough it has been on you and your family to lose two dogs so close together.  Only you know when the right time is to get a new pup and I too would really miss having a four leged friend around my house at all times.  Congrats and I'm sure you will do good by your new pup as you did Boone and your previous buddy.

Awesome boss, good for you. I know it's been rough in the TDF household but this will brighten some spirits. Good luck and post some pics when you get her.

Do you have a name picked out?

Nice breeding. That's a great deal for a pup with that kind of pedigree. Its' like waiting for Christmas when you have a new pup on the calendar!

Congrats-=Hap

I have two labs.  One has turned into a great hunting dog.  The other is a bit of a yo-yo at times.
Cut em!

Can't wait to meet the new pup!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Congrats.  Do you have a name picked out yet, or will you wait to get to know the pup first?
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

It's a toss up between Jersey, Cali, and Mia. I can't really decide. I think I'm going to let the wife choose this time.

That's a safe bet.  If something gets messed up, she can't blame you... :chuckle:
