7 obese teal with no shovelers, pellets in the heads only.  Plucked, salt and peppered, slow roasted and totally self basting.  The only waterfowl I salivate thinking about.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I had a mandarin in my pasture a few years back mixed in with my wood ducks. Was pretty cool to watch.

Nice!  I saw one a few years ago on the Rocky Reach reservoir north of Wenatchee.  About 15 years ago I saw an Egyptian goose flying along the Yakima River near Easton.  Both captive escapes I'd imagine.
