So to cut to the chase, dont want to leave everyone in suspence . Here is my last day "meat" bull that I called in and killed at 9:05 a.m PST. He was a growly ol'hrd bull that I had been wanting to get a look at the past 3 days , well he messed up this time .

Id write a story but in all reality I'll never get to it. All I can say is I had a great time , passed alot of great bulls. Missed a dandy and called in plenty, even a couple to 3 and 5 yards that I passed up. Had a few nulls I let go that I really shouldnt have but all in all I wouldnt change anything. Made some new friends and really just enjoyed being up in that beautiful country. Rugged, steep and brushy..... oh and wet  :chuckle:

ANyway, thanks to everyone that helped out on my hunt whether it was just checking in to see how it was going or "packing" meat .... if packing meat 15 YARDS COUNTS  :chuckle: Jim packed the whole elk out himself  :chuckle: Your an animal man  :chuckle: John took some great pictures of my bull and we had a good time the 2 days we ran around together. He helped me work over a bull that I really thought would be a shooter but only sported a 4 point rack with 1 5 inch kicker. Some weird genetics up there as it was a old heard bull from what I could tell.
