I mostly carry a 686 Powerport (6") or a 629-1 8 3/8" either or in Bianchi leather holsters. For as infrequently as they get drawn I would like to get a 4" 686 or 629 Mountain.  I am looking for a Browning Buckmark .22 to carry during grouse season as the others don't leave anything but a feather pile.

686

4" stainless with a Hogue grip. The holster that I am using for it isn't the best but it carries well (not too big or heavy) and should be more than adequate for any black bear or meth-head!

Yeah, I have two holsters I like. MY fav is leather on a full ammo belt, with suspenders :chuckle: gets pretty heavy with ammo, gutting knife, etc... The other is an elcheapo nylon

I like the glock 19 or my XD -45 if I want to carry an auto.
My usual woods sidearm of choice is a ruger Blackhawk 4 " barrel in .41 mag.
It will stop most anything and I carry crossdraw and hardly know I have it on.

zero cons,I have small hands the gun fits well with the grips on it,it is also ported. They are spendy, think I paid 6 something,I should remember I bought it on my wife's birthday :chuckle: its a 6inch barrel..weight wise its  heavy but well worth it.If your in the graham area you can shoot it if ya like..simply rugged sourdough holster I love.

I sometimes a carry a S&W 629 but its heavy so mostly it stays home.
I mostly carry a Glock 26 – very light and packs a lot of firepower I have 10 round and 15 round mags for it
My newest is a Ruger LCR .357 mag – even lighter and more punch but only 5 rounds.
