I wore my attack pants on my recent late hunt and was pretty impressed with the DWR finish. Now, I wasn't beating the brush, mostly hiking open ridges and glassing, but they worked well. Obviously, in situations such as backcountry hunting or on the westside, you would want something more like the chugach.

Attack pants in relative dry and moderate temps. Super comfortable but be patient getting a pair from them.

Tiburon pants during September. Durable and are practically air conditioned.

I have both and prefer Kuiu. They are both quality clothing, but to me, Kuiu is better.

I haven't bought any new Kuiu gear in a few years as mine has held out great. Is it still made in Canada or is it made overseas now?

Ok thanks. Yep I live and hunt in the arid desert now. Some of my hunting clothes are cotton LOL. I'll probably have occasion to buy necessarily high quality clothes later in but right now the cheap stuff gets me by.

Yes, it's made over seas now. I have both Canadian made and newer stuff, and I can't tell the difference in quality.

Do the clothes come with a good warranty and replacement ?  One of the above posters mentioned that rough terrain tore up his pants. Does KUIU repair or replace?

Not that I'm aware of, but their clothing is surprisingly durable. My first piece of Kuiu gear is a pair of Attack Pants that I got for Father's Day, three seasons ago. They are my favorite piece of hunting clothing I own, and I've worn them on every hunt and scouting trip since I got them. Not to mention countless training hikes. The lower part of the legs are pulled from busting brush without gaiters, and there is one small burn hole from a camp fire ember, otherwise they are still going strong.

I agree, attack pants rock! I have them in major brown, going to get them in camo as well!

Has anyone tried the Tiburon Pant? I just got the tiburon T and it is awesome! The tiburon pant seems like it would be a great early season/scouting summer pant. Just not sure on the 2-way stretch. anyone have experience with these?
