I could never pass up a 300" bull! Not with my bow in my hand anyway.

I got an update for you guy's! I spoke with Charlie at mid day today and he said last nights hunt was great again, he spotted two more monsters and one that you could see the whale tails on from a mile away with the naked eye! He got a scope on it and it has crown points on top and is worth a closer look. Well that was the plan for this morning but instead he had to fix his sight ... it seems somehow last night he creamed all his pins!!!!!!  :( so he spent the morning today fixing them instead of hunting  But he was back in business for this evenings hunt ... and I might add still putting the full court press on me to come down and meet him ... I hate work it gets in the way of my hunting fun!  :bash:

His sight fell off his bow before he left.  Man thats some bad luck.  Hope they dont fall off once he gets a chance at a monster :yike:.  Sounds like a great trip so far.

Just talked to Charlie about 30 min. ago!  He told me about his sight....  :yike:  :bdid:  :chuckle:  I razzed him about not using Spot Hogg products....  :chuckle: Anyways, he got that all fixed up and got on a 380+ bull this afternoon and didn't get things to work out so he is going back in on them in the morning... Talked about a bit more but thats the gist!

                                                        UPDATE
Hey guys I just got off the phone with Charlie. He wasn't able to go after the big 380+ bull he wanted because the wind was all wrong ... "wow nice paitince Charlie" he is in no hurry to blow him out now that he knows where he is at he is going to leave him alone till the time is right, he doesn't want to have to relocate him in later in another drainage. But he did locate another real clean heavy 6x6 that would go over 360 and he really wants a big clean 6 so he slipped in and did get a shot at him!!!! But unfortunatly with no time to use his rangefinder he under estimated the yardage and shot for 40 but the brusier was standing at 46.  :( Oh well he sounded in good spirits and said "I geuss I wasn't supposed to kill that one" I told him he was there to kill the 380 he has his eye on!
