Hello from a long time lurker. I really enjoy reading everyone’s stories and looking at the pictures you all post. I will do my best to report my field experiences. I have lived in this state my entire life and grew up in Skagit Co. hunting ducks. I got into big game later in life and mainly deer hunt out-of-state with this year seeing trips to Idaho and Montana. My goal for deer is still just mature 4-points and the big hogs are not my primary lust. I do not sulk if I do not fill a tag and I enjoy the one-week blocks of out-of-state hunting where I hunt public land and can roam freely. I shoot a Browning 7mm Rem Mag with a 5.5-22x50 Nightforce Scope (handloads) for deer, and a Browning Silver in 12 ga for ducks.
