Campmeat is right.  Also....its not much different than hanging heads on the wall, or the garage. Its not much different than wearing a fur coat, or snakeskin boots, its not much different than a bearskin rug.  Hypocrites all over this post. Just because your own little details differ doesnt kean your not displaying your kill or a dead animal at least.

I don't see any comparison from a taxidermy mount on the wall and dead duck parts on your antenna. Completely different in regards to being respectfull about the animals we kill.

To me the truck duck is a shamfull display and shows this person and hunters in general in a bad light.

This guy puts all of his duck heads on his antenna, he's obviously not that great of a hunter. Looks like he's got about 10ish birds so far this season. :chuckle:

I hope to god he's not a fisherman, you could smell him coming a mile away  :puke:

I can't believe you are trying to draw parallels between these and putting duck heads on a vehicle antenna, but whatever floats your boat.

Hopefully this guy's poor taste is more a result of immaturity than pure stupidity.

Why do people feel they always have to call the WDFW or the cops for something like this ? I think people should mind their own business and keep their traps shut. We have the Nazi police on here and then they want to control, complain and bitch about other peoples actions outside of this forum, grow up and leave people alone for once. Flame away on me because I don't care. It's irritating as hell to me.

Start complaining about all the Obama bumper stickers too, while you're at it.......... talk about a disgrace.

Because if we dont then the antis will! How hard is it to understand? Who cares if you disagree with it? Not me! Do you think the antis just sit back and let this crap slide like you would? You bet your hind parts they are makin the call when they see this junk.
What would life be without the thrill of the hunt?

Hey, I’ll defend this guy’s right to be a retard hick all day long. But we need to put a better image out into the world for our sport. Hunting used to be a genteel activity for intelligent and educated gentlemen. Think Teddy Roosevelt and Earnest Hemingway. We should do everything we can to return that image. So let’s retire the truck nuts and the camo skoal cans and stop impaling duck heads on our cars.

If he's in the military, he has the responsibility to fit the bill of the top percentage of the nation.  While there may not be particular regulation about stacking heads on a truck, his NCO's (if he is a joe) should take care of him pretty quick.

You who have not served may think looks do not matter.  The reality is that when you serve, you understand that people are watching what you do everywhere you go.

Correct. As a military person, you are expected to conduct yourself professionally both on duty and off. You are always in the public eye and a representative of the United States.

Maybe his favorite radio station is KWAK fm... :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I'd say that is one aspect of hunting, a very very small aspect but one aspect of it to be sure.
"red neck" hunters still far outnumber the "intelligent and educated" gentlemen  :chuckle:

pompous much?

If he's military he needs those things off his rig post haste - or never go on base with it or wear a uniform while in the rig.

I'm sure he thought it pretty clever, perhaps his dad will see it and smuck him upside the head, or a hot chick will be all over him then see that crap on his antenna and ditch him  :chuckle:

I did the same thing but with coyote and raccoon tails in high school - is that really any different?

So, as a military person, he is paid help kill people in thier own coutries, but he has to hide a few ducks he killed in his own county. Thats some messed up logic right there.

i think he is just exercising his right to display a duck totem on his own property  A few years ago nobody thought twice about mounting their deer or elk head on their bumper, and then all of a sudden someone said it offends non hunters. PC all the way now , personally i miss seeing a big elk head tied to someones winch driving through town :twocents:

The type of people we're dealing with overseas aren't the type of people you think they are.  I'll absolutely bestow more honor onto a duck than any member of Al Qaeda.

Thanks,

Curtis

A person in a military uniform is no longer a person as an individual but an ambassador for the USA - if you don't get that then you don't belong in a uniform.
Same with cops for their city/state/county
same for uniformed federal officers
same for firefighters

Anyone in a uniform looses their self identity, even a school kid required to have a uniform.
That's the whole purpose of a uniform.  It has to be that way or you'll get some jackwad enforcing laws based upon their own since of morality and prejudices, it doesn't work.

Do you want pulled over because you have an Obama sticker on your car?

What makes you think he isn't an NCO or Senior NCO?
