I just noticed that they reduced the Chinook limit to 1 fish this year.

I think it is because the quota has been getting burned up so fast on Possession the last couple seasons. Instead of an emergency closure early they want to keep the season going a little longer.
South sound gets to fish Chinook from June 1 – Dec 31 and they begrudge a North sound 2 fish limit for our short season? Something’s wrong with that logic.

Once they opened 9 and 10 again after years, our fishing went way south. It actually has been decent down here since the June 1 opener. And hopefully will stay that way.

I'm sure this will get people gripping about it for next year too, to make all of those areas a 1 fish Chinook limit if they're going to do it to 9 and 10.But I won't be able to get over there to fish Jeff Head until the weekend of the 25th. Anyone know how the resident Coho fishing has been there?
