My father passed last night
« on: January 01, 2015, 05:07:22 PM »
So it's been a hard road but Dad left to go with Jesus last night at 6:30pm. He was a great man, friend hunting partner, teacher and I could only dream of being half the father he was. He leaves behind my mother, two sisters, myself, 13 grandkids plus his mother, three brother and sister, aunts and cousins. He was 56 years old. Dad I'll never for get you and will be after that Tom in Montana for you . I Love You Dad!!!!

Very sorry for your loss, but glad you could write such a great eulogy of him here.

Reminds me very much of my father, who I lost 10+ years ago....

Sorry to hear that, I will miss him dearly. Dad was always there for me always knew a good answer.

Prayers to you and your family, tough time for sure.

SO TRUE! Dads are always there with the answers until they day they can no longer be there  :'(. How many of us that are Dads think about how important we are to our kids? We all see it when we lose our Dad but be sure are that guy to your family as well. Most of us our left BIG shoes to fill as we become the "always there and answer person" to not only ourselves but those around us. Remember how lucky you were to have that answer guy as long as you did even though they all leave too early.

I am sorry for your pain. I lost my Dad 30 years ago and I think I like him better, appreciate him more, understand him more now, then, then,. That might not make sense but as I grew I understood things he said and did better. I forgave him for my perceived injustices.
As you process your loss I hope, and think you will, love your Dad more than ever, and you will carry him around in your heart.
I am trying to say something good, I hope it came thru.

:salute: sorry for your loss buddy!  I like to always give positive feed on losses such as yourself. You can't think on the bad...your dad seemed like a great guy. Family man, friend, grandpa and loved one. Feel lucky you had the time and chances in life with such a good man. Sadly we all don't get the chances with good guys to be apart of our lives, lead us in the right path, be there when we needed them. Your lucky to have had  :)
