Nice looking truck until you try to pull the pass.

I think it looks great in steel wheels. Looks like a pick up instead of a mini wan with a lift. 😊. You'd be far happier with a aftermarket big screen stereo with all the bells and whistles anyways. The stock nav/stereo is ok. Better aftermarket stuff. Same with rear lockers if you go that route.

Beautiful truck. I had been shopping for a used one and couldn't find anything within my range. We now have a new hot tub. The mileage is great but there's no tow package or FWD.

I do love it already.  I've owned a couple with the 4.0 liter v6 and this 3.5 v6 is definitely different but I think it will work out just fine.

All of the reviews I have read everyone hates the 3.5 with the automatic.  I'll be interested in how you like it.

I stepped out of a '15 TRD Sport into a '17 TRD Sport on Saturday.   I was a little concerned after reading about the sluggish lower end of the 3.5.    I was pleasantly surprised that although different "feeling" than the 4.0, the 3.5 drives very well and gets up to speed quickly.   My pickup also came with a button that changes the shift points in the automatic transmission and makes the throttle very responsive.   I may not be explaining that exactly right, but with that button on, I can tell you that there is a dramatic difference in your get-up-and-go.

Nice truck  I recently traded my 07 TRD offroad crew cab short bed for a 2011 TRD sport crew cab with a matching canopy and just bought a 1983 Toyota longbed pickup a couple of days ago i am restoring.

Have the transmission fluid level manually checked. Many are coming low from the factory

I too am curious to your review now that you have got some miles under your belt. I picked up an 18' in early Sept. The jury is still out on the 6 speed automatic. It likes to shift a lot... Other than that, I am looking forward to many trouble free miles.

I wanted a Tacoma a few years ago so decided to go used and was shocked how high the prices were, ended up buying a tundra with 9000 miles on it for less then the Tacoma, oh well worked out fine. :dunno: :'(

It's crazy how high the resale is on these used.  One of the reasons I went new.  Wasn't much difference  + the interest on new for 4 years was only 1.99 %.

I went looking for a used Tacoma and found that out. I ended up buying a Tundra for less money...just not at the pump! Very nice rig. Congratulations.

I went from a 2014 Silverado LTZ to an 18 Tacoma trd offroad(yes i like the extra features) and couldn't be happier.   Only had the Silverado for 9 months before it was costing too much in repairs.
