Last year I made more money than I ever have before. Keep on buying them Ford's, folks. So you sell unnecessary work? Fords break a lot more than Dodges did....I'll tell you that with 100% certainty. Now granted, it might have to do with the fact that there are a lot more Fords serving commercial purposes than Dodges, but holy crap they break a lot and they're not cheap to fix.

Not to hijack this thread but we all might only have diesel rigs in 2040 as the US seams to be a follower on these movements. UK is planning on banning all gas cars by 2040. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/26/world/europe/uk-diesel-petrol-emissions.html

It's pretty safe to buy a vehicle that uses gas or diesel. There are a lot more diesels in many other countries because they get much better mileage. It seems funny when you compare fuel mileage and longevity why there aren't more diesels and why gas engines are so popular in the US.

I like both and dislike both for certain reasons! Do you think the Fords break more often due to having more bells and whistles to go wrong or is it the meat and potatoes mechanical items like motors, tranny, and steering that break more often?I'm also wondering if you think it's newer models that break more often? Do you see more older Fords breaking more often too?

I thought of this thread today as we passed a dodge hooked to a 5th wheel parked on the roadside with the hood up and flashers on. Lol. Made it to Texas with zero issues. Thanks for the prayers Timberstalker.
