In addition to what’s listed above. My kill kit has additional spare batteries. Spare flag tape, waterproof matches, electrical tape and zip ties.

Day trip or short trip I feel better if I over pack for everything!

Everything above is good. A good quality head lamp and extra batteries is critical. Game bags need to be the right size. Most of the ones I commonly see for sale are to small for a whole elk.

The last few years I've been hunting timber company property.  My "kill kit" sits in the truck and consists of blocks, lots of rope/mule tape, game bags, a saw, and a couple knives.

I found out last fall that I need someone with water rescue equipment. :chuckle:

Knives with a few extra blades, many game bags, rope, snacks, drinks.

Since the question is on kill kit and not general pack contents I carry the following in mine.  Nothing more

Havalon w/5 blades
Contractor garbage bag
550 cord-50ft....ish
Game bags to accommodate the intended target. Deer get half a bomb bag kit.  Spikes and cows get a full bomb kit.  I'd big bulls is on the menu it's a full kit plus 2 more of their bigger bags.

All gets stuffed in a small kifaru pullout

Not one mention of TP.  Heck I think I carry as much TP as everything else combined, plus and emergency stash in the kill kit just in case.  Otherwise, 5 game bags, three knives, a saw, paracord, flagging tape, and gloves.

2-3 different fixed blade knives, small saw, multi tool with knife blade and saw (just in case something goes wrong with the other knives and saw), game bags, 10-15' rope, snacks, tp, water. I don't bring gloves... yeah you get blood on your hands and arms but no biggy. There is almost always a creek or stream you can clean off in or once you get to camp/home. If its deer... just the multi tool, fixed blade knife, rope, gallon ziplocs, snacks, and water. Carry them out whole once field dressed... then again I'm hunting blacktails and am perfectly happy carrying out a young buck or a nice doe like a backpack! I'm sure I will regret it if I ever shoot an old mature buck with more weight to him.

Fixed blade knife, (home-made D2), havalon with 2 blades, sharpener, meat sacks, tarp, (doubles as a tent), Petzel e-lite, alcohol wipes, paracord, and that's all I have to say about that.

Well until I quit drinking Diet Coke , which I carried atleast 3 20oz bottles but the next most important thing was or is my baby wipes, fella just can't hunt if he has a case of itchy butt , no thanks, so my kit includes baby wipes, t.p and Diet Coke and it rides in my trusty Toyota Tundra , but I do carry a shotgun for those road grouse and I carry a bad boy ax

They weight nothing and make clean up much easier. No brainer to me.

Why chili powder?  :dunno:

It’s arguably the best thing to keep flies and other annoying insects off bloody meat.

I use black pepper on the meat and vinegar on the hide.

Elk bags, Wyoming knife with extra blades, Razor Edge, diamond sharpener, cord, bovine exam gloves and apron. I keep a comealong and block and tackle in the truck in case the animal dies in a bad position, like a rock crevice. Unfortunately, none of this has seen much work that last few years, however..

Para Cord 100 ft (temp meat pole)
A Few bone knifes
Game bags
Kill tarp about 10x10 (lay the quarters on)
I actually run a hand wood saw for my sawing (bigger strokes )
One thing that hasn't been mentioned that I use and is awesome is a butcher meat hook especially if your by yourself.
